Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Athletic Trainer to join our team at PT Solutions Physical Therapy. As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our patients, including orthopedic assessments, treatment planning, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Establish timely treatment plans for each patient's specific needs, taking into account their unique goals and objectives.
- Provide Exceptional Patient Care: Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, fellow clinicians, and other team members, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for all.
- Build and Maintain Community Relationships: Foster strong relationships with local schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote our services and expand access to quality care.
- Orthopedic Assessments and Documentation: Conduct thorough orthopedic assessments and maintain accurate documentation to ensure seamless communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Counseling and Education: Provide counseling on concussions, nutrition, mental health, and other relevant topics to support patients' overall well-being.
- Communication and Coordination: Coordinate with stakeholders, including physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes.
- Schedule and Onsite Requirements: Work a standard schedule of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional onsite requirements at industrial partners for OSHA first aid and ergonomic assessments.
- Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training: Possess a bachelor's degree in athletic training or a related field.
- State Licensure and Certification: Hold state licensure and certification as an athletic trainer, including Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
