Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Store Manager in the daily operation of the store, including managing store inventory, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Learn and master all store management responsibilities, including accounting, banking, and auditing functions.
  • Effectively operate and maintain all approved store equipment, ensuring minimum image standards are met at all times.
  • Assist the Store Manager with recruiting and interviewing qualified applicants, and assist in leading, motivating, inspiring, training, and coaching all employees.
  • Ensure store security and safety for all customers and employees, promptly reporting any incidents.
  • Maximize sales and gross profit dollars by responsible and profitable marketing of merchandise and proper product availability and display.
  • Assist with Management duties in the absence of the Store Manager, including banking/safe procedures, vacation coverage, etc.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Physical demands: standing for prolonged periods, working up to ten (10) hour shifts, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, and hearing.
  • Work environment: flexibility to work all shifts, all days of the week, when necessary, ability to tolerate extreme temperatures for minimum of 30-minute intervals, exposure to cleaning solvents.
