About the Role

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a skilled Hose Assembly Specialist to join our team in Stafford, TX. As a key member of our Parflex Division, you will play a critical role in manufacturing high-quality tubing and components for various industries, including Aerospace and Transportation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate special purpose hose assembly machines, selecting and positioning size dies, check jaws, blocks, and special holding devices.
  • Perform basic assembly and testing functions using mechanical skills, hand and power tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment.
  • Assemble and inspect products to ensure quality standards are met, recording test results on data forms.
  • Insert plastic caps on each end of hose to protect end fitting threads.
  • Interpret engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer sales order sheets, quality directives, and record data on applicable forms with signatures as needed.
  • Assemble, inspect, and test hose configurations to product specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards.
  • Engage in business and team meetings as necessary.
  • Assist with problem-solving efforts to improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, following 5S practices.
  • Know and practice all safety regulations and quality guidelines.
  • Perform work of an equal or lower classification.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, recognizing International Diplomas (may need to be translated to English).
  • U.S. citizen or permanent residency status required.
  • At least two years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to operate material handling vehicles (forklift), with good numeric, writing, and reading ability.
  • Ability to work and communicate with peers.
  • Ability to adapt to production needs to satisfy customer demands.
