Job Title: Laboratory Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our team at SGS, a leading testing, inspection, and certification company. As a Laboratory Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our analytical results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze samples using instrumentation specific to the department and analytical methodologies.
  • Perform routine operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Assist with validation and MDL studies, as well as investigation and preparation of responses to client inquiries and CARs.
  • Input and maintain technical information as needed to support laboratory functions and operations.
  • Maintain a Laboratory Notebook, as applicable.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Chemistry or a similar scientific discipline, with 0-2 years of experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories, or 3 years of relevant experience in Sample Prep.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a similar scientific discipline, with 1-2 years of relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories.
  • Proficient with MS Office programs, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Proficient with LIMS.
