Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Analyst II to join our team at EPM Scientific. This role will be responsible for performing routine analytical tests of pharmaceutical raw materials, in-process samples, blends, finished products, and stability samples using advanced instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct analytical tests using HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV/VIS, FTIR, dissolution apparatus, and particle size analysis equipment.
  • Ensure timely execution of lab analysis and related documentation.
  • Document all raw data, observations, and results in worksheets, templates, and notebooks.
  • Compile analytical data and notify supervisors of results.
  • Adhere to safety, DEA, and department SOPs.
  • Perform calibration and qualification of analytical instruments.
  • Execute method transfer and validation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Develop and maintain clear and concise lab records and documentation.
  • Perform routine maintenance of lab equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum BS or equivalent degree in Chemistry or related field with a minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical industry lab experience.
  • Knowledge of analytical instrumentation and hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV, and other analytical instruments.
  • Experience with instrumentation troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of ICH and FDA regulatory guidance.
  • Familiarity with cGMP/GLP practices for analytical laboratories and EHS/OSHA safety regulations.
