**Job Description:**

  • Create and implement custom equipment for testing satellite components.

Within the Starlink Components Test Team, you will design, build, and test systems to support the development, qualification, and acceptance testing of flight hardware for high-volume communication satellites. The team is looking for an engineer who can develop specialized machinery and tooling to validate that each component meets vehicle requirements in our factory and test labs.

**Responsibilities:**

  1. Own the design, development, build, and implementation of custom equipment.
  2. Collaborate with a cross-discipline team to develop integrated test systems.
  3. Solve complex problems with an emphasis on speed of execution and efficiency.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other relevant field.
  • Experience with CAD software design packages (e.g., NX, CATIA) and PLM/PDM software (e.g., Teamcenter).
  • Familiarity with electromechanical systems, motors, actuators, linear rails, bearings, lifting/rigging, etc.

**Estimated Salary:** $95,000 - $130,000 per year based on level and experience.
