Job Title: Recruitment Specialist

Office Pride of Louisville is seeking a highly motivated and organized Recruitment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our human resources department, you will be responsible for implementing all phases of the recruitment process, collaborating with area managers to refine job descriptions and hiring criteria, and identifying and implementing efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  2. Collaborate with area managers to refine job descriptions and hiring criteria
  3. Screen applications and select qualified candidates
  4. Schedule interviews and review interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
  5. Conduct interviews with qualified candidates and collaborate with area managers and/or other human resource staff during the offer process
  6. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
  7. Support company operations by maintaining office systems and processing workflows

Requirements:

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  2. Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
  3. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
  4. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
  5. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  6. Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
  7. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
  8. High school diploma, associates preferred
  9. Two to three years' experience in an office setting
  10. Proficient with Microsoft Office software and phone systems

Physical Requirements:

  1. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  2. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Starting Pay Rate: $17/hr
