Role Overview: The Senior Manager of Resident Services plays a pivotal role within the property leadership team, overseeing the daily resident experience. This position not only involves delivering outstanding customer service but also encompasses the recruitment, training, development, and mentorship of a diverse team of full-time and part-time Resident Services associates. Ensuring that the team comprehensively understands company standards, policies, and procedures is essential for maintaining consistent service delivery around the clock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and schedule new Resident Services associates, ensuring clarity in their roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide exemplary customer service by personally engaging with residents, recognizing them by name, and warmly welcoming guests.
  • Assist residents with various needs, including directions, transportation arrangements, entertainment bookings, and dining reservations.
  • Coordinate service requests with the maintenance team and escalate issues to management as necessary.
  • Foster a sense of community by actively participating in local meetings and acquiring in-depth knowledge of community attractions and amenities.
  • Develop and manage a monthly community calendar and oversee front desk operations, including package logging and auditing.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Resident Services team, communicating tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of managerial experience in the hospitality sector, specifically in Concierge, Guest Services, Front Desk, or Retail Services.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities.
  • Self-driven with the capability to work independently.
  • Proficient in prioritizing tasks, managing multiple responsibilities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in internet navigation.
