OverviewActivate Games is a technology company building interactive gaming facilities across Canada and the US. We take entertainment into the future by fusing technology and physical activity to create live-action gaming experiences.
About the RoleThe Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring customers receive a positive experience during their visit to Activate Games. They will oversee all staff on shift, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Experience: Answer phones and emails, troubleshoot challenges around bookings, assist customers at check-in, and resolve complaints.
- Team Leadership: Train new employees, lead with knowledge, maintain a focus on customer success, coach and foster relationships with incoming potential customers, existing employees, and management.
- Maintenance and Inventory: Understand maintenance requirements, delegate cleaning and maintenance tasks, receive and track inventory, and communicate needs to the Store Leader.
To succeed in this role, you should have 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar role, strong customer relations skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software. Previous experience overseeing a team of 10+ is an asset.
