Photonics Integration Specialist

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Photonics Integration Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on the execution of our multi-project wafer (MPW) program, with opportunities to participate in sponsored projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Handling third-party design IP and ensuring seamless integration.
- Design rule checking and waiver reviews to maintain process stability.
- Collecting and analyzing measurement, metrology, and inline test data to drive process improvements.
- Collaborating with customers and development partners to understand project requirements and update on progress.
- Actively participating in team meetings and contributing to process development.
- Coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Providing integration support for our core MPW program.
- Developing reports, papers, and patents to document process advancements.
Requirements:
- M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent discipline from a recognized institution AND 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- OR Ph.D. in the same disciplines with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and execute multiple tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and learn new topics quickly.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in process development, CMOS process integration, or non-CMOS technologies.
- Background in modeling or device physics of photonic devices.
- Familiarity with IC layout and verification tools.
- Demonstrated hands-on problem-solving skills.
