We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at United Gear & Assembly. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on machine equipment, facility equipment, and property structures.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot Mechanical Breakdowns: Utilize your expertise to identify and resolve mechanical issues, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Read and Interpret Technical Diagrams: Accurately read and understand mechanical and electrical diagrams and prints to ensure effective maintenance and repairs.
- Facility Maintenance: Perform minor facility repairs, including HVAC systems, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance on a variety of equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Compliance with Safety Standards: Adhere to safety standards and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- High School Diploma/GED: Required.
- Four Years' Experience or Trade School/Vocational Training: Required.
- CNC Background: A plus.
This is a Weekend Shift position, working Friday through Sunday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. We will provide training on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
CompensationThe hourly wage for this position is $25-30 per hour.
