**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at Spartan Placements LLC. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, not-for-profit organizations, and retirement plans.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Prepare income tax returns for a variety of clients
* Assist associate and staff accountants with general tax return problems
* Work closely with partners and staff to ensure seamless client service
* Prepare payroll tax and sales tax returns
* Analyze tax planning projections and quantify federal and state income tax liabilities
* Perform research on technical tax issues
* Respond to client inquiries and taxing authority notices

**Requirements**

* Bachelor's degree in accounting
* Valid license as a Florida Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or in the process of completing requirements for licensure
* 3+ years of experience in public accounting with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
* Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including expertise with US GAAP
* Proficiency with computer tax preparation, research, and planning software programs
