DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Application Support Analyst
  • Resolve issues and coordinate with software vendor teams.
  • Innovate solutions to meet needs, lead the implementation of new technologies, and assist others in understanding these technologies.
  • Address application support inquiries for respective banking applications.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot application issues, escalating to the appropriate resources as necessary.
  • Provide daily support, maintenance, and coordination for supported systems, including monitoring and file management.
  • Handle escalated user support tickets and ensure prompt resolution of user concerns.
  • Communicate updates and information to stakeholders regarding issues with supported applications.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned business units.
  • Monitor vendor communications for updates on system releases and fixes, sharing relevant information with business units.
  • Assist with core system updates, including product configuration and user permissions, following appropriate testing and approvals.
  • Collaborate with IT personnel to identify root causes of production defects.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in Bank systems and software capabilities.
  • Lead the deployment of updates and upgrades for supported applications.
  • Engage with application vendors as needed for effective system support.
  • Coordinate both planned and unplanned maintenance activities with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors.
  • Maintain relationships with core processing vendors and support teams.
  • Assist in defining the scope and objectives for assigned projects.
  • Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with clients and stakeholders to document business and technical requirements.
  • Provide written specifications for assigned projects.
  • Offer guidance, analysis, and process expertise as required.
  • Participate in design review meetings to ensure robust application design aligned with organizational goals.
  • Document existing and proposed processes using flow diagrams; perform gap analysis between current and proposed processes.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance testing as necessary.
  • Research and test system changes requested by business units.
  • Create and execute system test cases; document results and collaborate with IT teams to resolve defects.
  • Identify users for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), facilitate UAT case creation, estimate execution time, schedule testing, document results, and collaborate with development to address defects.
  • Work harmoniously with others, focusing on achieving Bank goals through teamwork.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Project Management
  • Oversee the project team from initiation to closure.
  • Act as the primary contact for the project, ensuring adherence to the bank's Project Management policies.
  • Collaborate with project sponsors and stakeholders to define success criteria, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Create and manage project plans in alignment with the IT steering committee.
  • Serve as a liaison among management, departments, vendors, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure proper governance.
  • Establish realistic yet challenging project plans.
  • Identify and manage risks to mitigate impacts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely project reporting.
  • Support sponsors in delivering project benefits in line with the business case.
  • Manage conflicts within project teams.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Work Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a banking environment, preferably with relevant systems.
  • Experience with third-party business application integration and support.
  • 3+ years of IT Project Management and Business Analysis experience.
Education/Skills/Experience
  • College degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • PMP, CBAP, or similar Business Analyst Certification preferred.
Equipment/Machines/Software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Able to operate office equipment such as personal computers and digital devices.
