Job Summary

Sodexo is seeking a Part-time Registered Dietitian to work 20 hour/week at a nationally-recognized skilled nursing and rehab center. This position offers benefits and a flexible schedule, with potential for extra hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with a full-time RD to provide nutritional care to long-term care residents and sub-acute rehab patients
  • Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards
  • Be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences
  • Represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff
  • Support the food service operation as needed
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian credentials and licensure in MD
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with seniors

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
