Crisis Intervention Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our team at Advocates. The successful candidate will work closely with law enforcement to provide crisis intervention services to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities
- Accompany first-responding officers to call-out situations to promote a healthy and helpful environment.
- Provide psychiatric and substance abuse evaluations of individuals and families in crisis.
- Offer crisis intervention services, including crisis case management and short-term crisis counseling.
- Maintain linkages with community services and provide documented case consultations and problem resolution.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in a related counseling field.
- Minimum of two years' experience in crisis intervention.
- Valid driver's license and access to an operational and insured vehicle.
