Sign-on Incentive: $15,000

Compensation: Starting at $32.37 per hour +
additional pay for night and weekend shifts

At Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals, you will be responsible for caring for the most vulnerable patients in your community. You will provide care for patients who are chronically and critically ill or those recovering from intensive care, requiring extended hospitalization. You will join a network of over 50,000 professionals nationwide dedicated to delivering quality care to approximately 70,000 patients daily across our four divisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with physicians and mentors to ensure the execution of assessment plans, evaluations, and follow-ups for patient care.
  • Conducting ongoing systematic assessments of the physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of patients and their families.
  • Analyzing assessment data to formulate a nursing care plan that includes problem identification, nursing diagnoses, nursing orders, interventions, goals, and discharge planning.
  • Actively participating as a member of the interdisciplinary team in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation objectives.
  • Ensuring that documentation in the medical records is complete, factual, accurate, and timely.

Qualifications

You will demonstrate a strong understanding of patient needs, ensuring that each individual feels informed, understood, and valued. You are dedicated to providing high-quality care and possess the ability to solve problems creatively in a dynamic environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • A valid State RN License is mandatory.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required by the start date.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is necessary to fulfill program requirements.
