Job Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of all equipment and structures within the facility and its surrounding grounds. This position is essential to the safety of Homeland Vinyl employees and the overall efficiency of the manufacturing areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including replacing or repairing locks, light bulbs, and other equipment.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team, with good communication between shifts.
  • Train employees as needed and provide feedback on tasks in the Preventive Maintenance programs.
  • Complete assigned PMs and provide feedback on any improvements that might be needed.
  • Inspect and test equipment to detect malfunctions and diagnose problems for proper repair.
  • Utilize various maintenance tools, such as hand tools, forklifts, measuring devices, blueprints, and other equipment.
Requirements
  • Experience with machine repair, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to maintain supply inventory and report reorder needs.
  • Install and repair electrical apparatus and electronic components.
  • Repair and maintain the physical structure of the facility and its grounds.
Working Conditions

This position requires working 42 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts, either 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am, rotating days. Employees work approximately 15 days per month and receive full-time checks.
