Role Overview

The New Product Introduction Operations Program Manager (NPI OPM) plays a pivotal role in launching Apple's products on time, with high quality, and maximum customer availability.

This position is responsible for leading the OEM operations team in planning and executing development builds and new product ramps, driving ramp readiness with engineering, operations, and OEM teams, and planning capacity and leading factory equipment budget.

The NPI OPM must handle component readiness to ensure part availability, quality, and cost, and communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead OEM operations team in planning and executing development builds and new product ramps
  • Drive ramp readiness with engineering, operations, and OEM teams
  • Plan capacity and lead factory equipment budget
  • Handle component readiness to ensure part availability, quality, and cost
  • Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in manufacturing, process engineering, supply chain, and/or product development
  • Results-oriented and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present to management
  • Ability to travel up to 30-35%

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred. Masters or MBA are considered a plus.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.

The base pay range for this role is between $122,300 and $184,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
