Key Qualifications

  • Proficient in the complete Microsoft Office Suite (365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Windows operating systems.
  • Skilled in Apple OSX, with the ability to set up and troubleshoot related applications.
  • Familiarity with Linux OS, particularly Ubuntu, including setup and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with ISO and PCI/DSS compliance, including surveys, audits, and documentation.
  • Expertise in asset management, including procurement and tracking of hardware and software.
  • Ability to troubleshoot various hardware types, including Apple and Microsoft devices.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies.
  • Experience with VPN remote software and RDP setup.
  • Understanding of DNS, DHCP, WINS, and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Capability to follow escalation procedures within IT operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of network and server infrastructure.
  • Align IT infrastructure with business objectives and future requirements.
  • Manage IT budgets, forecasts, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Evaluate risks and develop network recovery and backup strategies.
  • Assess and procure new and replacement hardware.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and optimize information systems for effectiveness.
  • Implement security measures for networks, data storage, and communication systems.
