Mechanical Engineer, Maintenance Specialist

In this dynamic role as a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a critical part in ensuring the success of our Starlink programs. As a member of our maintenance team, your primary responsibility will be to provide engineering support on planned and unplanned repairs, modifications, and upgrades of production equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment failures.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective measures to address equipment, process, and behavioral gaps.
- Develop and execute improvement projects to maximize production equipment availability.
- Collaborate with development engineering teams to build reliability and maintenance efficiency into projects.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in manufacturing or relevant industry.
- Preferred skills include MRP, ERP, and CMMS systems experience, as well as knowledge of automated industrial equipment.
Benefits:
This is a highly competitive position offering a salary range of $95,000-$115,000 per year for level I and $110,000-$130,000 per year for level II, depending on experience. A comprehensive compensation package includes long-term incentives, health insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid parental leave. You may also accrue three weeks of paid vacation and ten paid holidays annually.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work extended hours and occasional weekends.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for short trips.
- Physical effort including standing, lifting, and carrying equipment up to 25 pounds unassisted.
