Job Title: Diagnostic Sonographer

At Community Health Systems, we are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will play a critical role in performing diagnostic sonographic examinations to evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate, and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.
  • Schedule and coordinate tests, record test results, and prepare and maintain operational logs.
  • Calibrate and maintain equipment and order supplies as needed.
  • Work under general supervision and rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Requirements:
  • Two-year allied health degree or successful completion of an approved one-year program in Ultrasound Technology.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the field.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) is preferred.
