Job Summary:

As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the direction of a radiologist. This role requires independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to ensure accurate and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using various equipment and techniques
• Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
• Conduct ultrasound examinations, taking note of any abnormalities or concerns
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and procedure details

Requirements:

• Formal training in radiologic technology or a related field
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current Mississippi State license
• American Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification
• 1-2 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 5:00PM, PRN
