Job Title: Full Time Dispensing Nurse

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Dispensing Nurse. As a key member of our treatment team, you will be responsible for dispensing prescribed medications to patients in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer daily medication to patients in accordance with program policy and medical protocols.
  • Use automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps, and maintain dispensing equipment.
  • Produce and maintain accurate records and reports as required by Company protocol, Federal, and State Regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances as set forth in the Code of Federal Regulations.
  • Order, receive, and stock medication in accordance with DEA and State regulations.
  • Provide daily assessments of patients and assist Nursing Supervisors with orienting new nursing staff.

Requirements:

  • Current and good standing LPN license in the State of New Mexico.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • EMR and computer proficiency desired.
  • Experience in chemical dependency preferred, self-motivated, and directed, with a positive attitude toward individuals in substance abuse treatment.
  • Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
