Job Title: Senior Distribution Center Manager

At Truck Hero, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Distribution Center Manager to lead our regional distribution operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and controlling warehouse operations to ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and control warehousing, distribution, and transportation activities for the distribution center.
  • Direct operations managers to coordinate, motivate, and direct all staff within the operation, ensuring daily objectives are clear and on target.
  • Work cross-functionally with our customer fulfillment team to ensure customer orders are processed according to business standards.
  • Ensure the facility is properly organized and has the necessary manpower, equipment, and systems to perform all necessary functions efficiently and accurately.
  • Hire, develop, and maintain a productive team through training, coaching, and career development.
  • Oversee distribution center operations to ensure policies and procedures are followed and systems are adequate to comply with company quality, safety, and HR requirements.
  • Manage the local RDC budget.
  • Ensure all department operating standards are understood and maintained, and regularly review actual production levels versus expected/budgeted levels with staff.
  • Review key performance indicators and determine necessary changes to meet future needs.
  • Identify root causes for gaps by analyzing historical and current data, as well as RDC, company, and industry trends.
  • Guide local management team in development of action plans regarding operational gaps.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in logistics, business, or related field required.
  • 10+ years' experience in distribution and fulfillment in both B2B and B2C.
  • 3-5 years of experience at a manager or senior manager level in a distribution operation.

Working Conditions:

This position will be subject to both an office environment and warehouse environment, working near the shipping and receiving docks.
