Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Diagnostic Imaging Professor to join our team at Tufts University's Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and supervising veterinary students and house officers, providing advanced referral and specialty diagnostic services, and engaging in research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and supervise veterinary students and house officers in diagnostic imaging
  • Provide advanced referral and specialty diagnostic services
  • Engage in research and scholarly activity
  • Participate in pre-clinical classroom and laboratory teaching
  • Develop an independent or collaborative research program
Requirements
  • DVM degree or its equivalent
  • Completion of an American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI) approved residency
  • ACVR or ECVDI board-certification required at, or not later than two years following, the date of hire
  • Ability to pursue specific diagnostic imaging interests in large and small animals
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
