Job Title: Faculty Position in Equine Diagnostic Imaging

Cummins School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University is seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a faculty member in the Department of Clinical Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing diagnostic imaging services, teaching clinical-year students, and supervising interns and residents in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide diagnostic imaging services, including provision of diagnostic imaging service, instruction of clinical-year students, and supervision of interns and residents in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging.
  • Engage in research and scholarly activity, with the amount of time dedicated depending on the interests and capabilities of the faculty member and the faculty track.
  • Participate in pre-clinical classroom and laboratory teaching.
Qualifications:
  • Candidates must hold a DVM degree or its equivalent.
  • Completion of an American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI) approved residency is required.
  • ACVR or ECVDI board-certification is required at, or not later than two years following, the date of hire.
  • Expertise in equine imaging, especially ultrasound, is considered an asset.
