Job Title: Faculty Position in Radiation Oncology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced radiation oncologist to join our team at Tufts University's Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. As a faculty member in our Department of Clinical Sciences, you will play a key role in providing exceptional patient care, teaching and mentoring students, and contributing to our research and clinical trials.

About the Position

This is a full-time faculty position in radiation oncology, with a focus on clinical activity and clinical teaching in the Harrington Oncology Service within the Foster Hospital for Small Animals. The successful candidate will join an existing team of experienced clinicians and researchers, and will have the opportunity to contribute to our robust clinical caseload, excellent student teaching and house officer training programs, and collaborative clinical trials research.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and service to our referring veterinarians and clients
  • Teach and mentor veterinary students, house officers, and technicians
  • Contribute to our research and clinical trials, including the development of new treatments and therapies
  • Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and professional development
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must hold a DVM or equivalent degree, have completed a residency program in radiation oncology, and be board certified in radiation oncology. You should also have a strong interest in teaching and mentoring, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
