Senior Compliance Auditor - Casino Operations


The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Senior Compliance Auditor in the Casino Operations sector.

This pivotal position demands a high level of integrity and expertise to ensure adherence to Federal, State, and Tribal regulations, alongside the State/Tribal Compact.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and oversees financial, operational, and compliance audit plans
  • Offers advisory and consulting insights
  • Compiles sensitive financial documentation and gaming activity summaries
  • Conducts various assessments related to gaming operations
  • Leads audit teams on specialized projects
  • Guarantees compliance with regulatory standards and industry practices
  • Undertakes additional responsibilities as required
Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
  • At least four years of professional experience in Audit, Accounting, or similar fields
  • Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
  • Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in data extraction methods
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
Licenses and Certifications

  • May need to secure and maintain a gaming license
  • Must hold a valid Driver's License
