Orthopedic Spine Care Specialist

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic spine and general orthopedic post-operative conditions requiring inpatient management.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes while working alongside a supportive and collaborative team. You will conduct daily rounds with physicians to review and address patient progress in alignment with clinical pathways and best practices.
Schedule and Expectations- You will work Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM or 4 ten-hour shifts.
- Average Patients per Day: 10-25
- Deliver comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, and patient education to optimize care for orthopedic, spine, and joint patients.
- Act as a liaison among consulting physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary services, independently ordering necessary services to facilitate patient care.
- Collaborate with Care Managers for discharge planning, including writing prescriptions, medication reconciliation, and providing discharge instructions and summaries.
- Maintain thorough documentation of patient assessments, problems, and management plans.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to enhance quality and continuity of care.
- Master s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or equivalent qualification for Physician Assistant.
- Current NP or PA license in Virginia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:
- $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience.
