Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at ABB. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating parts to create small or light fuse assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble parts according to manufacturing instructions and ensure quality of parts made.
  • Test, calibrate, and fit parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
  • Use hands and small hand tools to assemble parts.
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams, drawings, and instructions for assembly of products.
  • Meet or exceed company requirements for safety.
  • Complete all required mandatory Safety, OSHA, and ISO 9001 training.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing experience not required but desirable.
  • Ability to stand throughout work shift if assigned to a station which requires standing.
  • Sufficient hand/arm strength to handle fuses weighing as much as 15 pounds.
