ADUSA Distribution, a leading distribution company, is seeking a highly skilled Sanitation Department Supervisor to oversee the sanitation department's functions, associates, and production standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in a distribution environment and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day activities of the sanitation department and assigned staff.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sanitation department efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and training to associates.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Campus Leader to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with associates, management, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports.

Requirements:

  • High School Education or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a distribution warehouse environment.
  • Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable.
  • Food Safety Certifications (GFSI) and Warehouse Sanitation Services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with distribution environment.
  • Basic understanding of business financial reports and information.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English).

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.
  • Strong leadership and conflict management skills.
  • Knowledge of company standard practices.
  • Ability to supervise or manage multiple tasks and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate and complete required record-keeping functions.
  • Ability to articulate and align associates with department and business goals.
