Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team in New York City. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to patient preparation, procedure setup, and equipment operation. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional patient care and support our medical team in delivering quality services.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing patients for radiology procedures, including explaining the process and addressing their concerns
- Setting up and stocking procedure rooms with necessary supplies and equipment
- Operating radiological equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Assisting physicians during interventional procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring patient safety
- Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and participating in quality control measures
- Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth workflow, efficient use of resources, and adherence to regulatory requirements
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- High School Diploma, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Current ARRT Certification and/or State Licensure (as per state regulations)
- 4-6 years' related experience, with a working knowledge of interventional equipment and sterile techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments
- Proficiency in computer software, such as Microsoft Office
