Radiology Technologist II Job DescriptionAbout the Role

As a Radiology Technologist II at Sollis Health, you will be responsible for operating complex medical imaging equipment, including CT and X-ray scanners. Your primary focus will be on performing diagnostics, ensuring accurate image production, and maintaining high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review physician requests for radiographic procedures and identify patients prior to conducting scans.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging using CT, X-ray, and/or MRI on various body parts, adhering to established standards and procedures.
  • Operate computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation.
  • Ensure accurate labeling of images with date and patient identification.
  • Monitor patient well-being, recognizing discomfort or medical issues and taking appropriate action.
  • Run laboratory tests on moderate to complex machines under CLIA license and perform routine QC's.
  • Enter patient information into EMR Athena Health, maintaining HIPAA compliance.
  • Update patient information in CRM Salesforce.
  • Perform clerical duties as assigned and other job-related tasks.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Current License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist (General Radiographer) in New York State.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Radiography and CT within 12 months of hire.
  • At least 1 year of previous experience in both X-ray and CT modalities.
  • Strong knowledge of Siemens technology.

Compensation

$55-$60 per hour (NYC candidates only). Actual pay may vary based on experience, location, education, and other factors.
