We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Engineering Intern to join our team at Arup. As a Geotechnical Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including site investigations, geotechnical analysis, and design.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site investigations and collect geotechnical data
- Assist in the preparation of geotechnical reports and designs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects
- Develop and maintain geotechnical databases and models
- Support the completion of temporary support-of-excavation designs
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Master's or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering/Engineering Geology, or Civil Engineering with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Highly motivated and proactive
- Presentation skills with colleagues and clients
- Proficient in geotechnical engineering analysis software
