We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at CVS Health. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

About the Role

This is a full-time position at our MinuteClinic location in Washington, DC. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing primary and family care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems. You will also be responsible for administrative duties, such as opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, and patient follow-up.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and family care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, and patient follow-up.
  • Order and administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, and TB.
  • Provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
  • Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
  • Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
  • Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
