Position Overview

• Ensure accurate tracking of student attendance and timely submission of grades.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and evaluation of educational programs to maintain high standards.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new instructors in both theoretical and practical settings.
• Apply adult learning principles to enhance teaching effectiveness.
• Continuously seek opportunities to elevate the quality of educational delivery.
• Demonstrate or develop proficiency in utilizing online tools to enrich course content and engagement.
• Maintain comprehensive records of student attendance and skills assessments, aiding in program evaluation.
• Timely submission of necessary reports and documentation to the program director.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and safety protocols relevant to nursing education.
• Engage in committee work that aligns with the objectives of the nursing program.
• Participate in faculty meetings to discuss program improvements and updates.
• Oversee student clinical experiences in designated healthcare settings.
• Assess student performance against clinical learning objectives, adhering to established policies.
• Provide immediate feedback on clinical performance following observations.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of clinical attendance and skills evaluations.
• Ensure clinical assignments align with both student and facility requirements.
• Identify effective methods for observing, instructing, and evaluating students.
• Verify that clinical facilities comply with health and safety standards for student participation.
• Facilitate ongoing communication with students through scheduled office hours and electronic correspondence.
• Engage in student advising to support academic success.

Qualifications

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a minimum of three years of clinical experience as a registered nurse (RN) are required.
