POSITION SUMMARY
The Microsoft Power Platform Specialist will possess extensive knowledge of the Microsoft 365 Power Platform and its integration within the Microsoft ecosystem. This role is essential in promoting collaboration and aligning processes between development teams and various operational departments such as HR, Marketing, Engagement, and Operations. The focus of this position is on enhancing processes and delivering solutions that support departments by automating routine tasks, creating approval workflows, developing chatbots for improved knowledge sharing, and designing visual dashboards to track organizational success.


REPORTING STRUCTURE
This role reports directly to the IT Principal Architect.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and manage Model-driven Applications utilizing Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Design and maintain Microsoft Dataverse entities.
  • Create and oversee Power Automate Flows.
  • Ensure the Power Platform and Power BI environments are maintained in accordance with security best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Demonstrate hands-on expertise in automation, integration, and deployment processes (DevOps).
  • Design and manage dashboards and reports for data visualization using Power BI to provide actionable business insights.
  • Handle data integration, migration, and connectivity through connectors and APIs.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services (Dynamics 365, Azure) and third-party applications.
  • Preferred: Experience in IT security, compliance, and risk management, including privacy and controls.
  • Preferred: Experience in developing custom components through coding.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft 365, including a minimum of 2 years specifically with Power Platform: Administration of Enterprise Environments.
  • Experience in developing canvas- and model-based PowerApps and integrating them with external data sources.
  • Strong proficiency in at least three of the following: Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Entra, including user/group security and RBAC.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of database structures (Dataverse), including column security and table design.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or similar certification is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to convey information effectively.
  • Demonstrated personal traits of commitment, motivation, energy, teamwork, professionalism, trustworthiness, and integrity.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The position operates in a remote setting with minimal exposure to adverse environmental conditions. The role requires routine phone communication using a headset, along with periods of sitting and data entry. Occasional office site visits may be necessary.


Security and privacy training will be provided to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of associate and customer data.
