We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pain Management Specialist to join our team at KureSmart Pain Management. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and Manage Patient Pain Issues: Utilize a multimodal approach to include medication and interventional management, physical therapy, and bracing where appropriate.
- Communicate Effectively with Patients: Explain procedures or prescribed treatments to patients, along with treatment goals, and interpret medical tests in the context of patient care.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner, including monitoring patient compliance with treatment plans and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with Medical Professionals: Liaise with other medical professionals related to patient care, maintain patient confidentiality, and adhere to company policies and quality improvement objectives.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Medical Developments: Maintain current knowledge of medical developments and best practices in pain management.
- Licensure and Certification: Must possess and maintain current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state in which services are performed.
- Education and Experience: Masters Degree in Nursing or a related field of study, with a minimum of one year of experience working in a pain management practice.
- Skills and Qualities: Excellent written and oral communication skills, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records: One year of prior experience working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Experience with In-Office Procedures: One year of experience performing in-office procedures.
- Specialized Education: Masters Degree in Nursing with a Nurse Practitioner specialty/focus.
