Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Neonatology department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments to develop personalized care plans.
* Perform standardized patient care procedures under the supervision of attending physicians, including medication management and laboratory testing.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
* Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on medical processes, medications, nutrition, and health promotion practices.
* Assist physicians in formulating therapeutic decisions and maintain accurate patient records.
Requirements:
* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Texas.
* Certification as an APRN-NP and specialty certification in neonatal nursing.
* Master's degree in Nursing or completion of a post-masters Nurse Practitioner Certification Program.
