Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Texas Children's Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional to provide comprehensive care to infants of all gestational ages with mild to critical illnesses or requiring sustained life support in the Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

About the Role
  • Utilize advanced practice knowledge and skills to systematically collect and evaluate health assessment data and to manage a caseload of patients.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills and work to eliminate communication barriers.
  • Serve as an educational resource for the patient and family, community, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Apply new knowledge relevant to pediatric nursing to clinical practice.
  • Demonstrate current professional, managerial, and/or technical knowledge and skills.
  • Demonstrate nurse practitioner's role behaviors consistent with the development of advanced nursing practice.
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement program annually.
