Concho Hearts Hospice is dedicated to providing compassionate care wherever you call home. Our team of skilled professionals offers symptom management, patient and family support while coping with an end of life illness. We are on this journey with you, and everyone's journey is different.

About the Role

The primary function of this position is to provide spiritual care in the home to terminally ill patients and their families. This includes assessing the patient's and family's spiritual needs and providing counseling to meet those needs. The Chaplain will also make reasonable efforts to facilitate visits by local clergy, pastoral counselors, or other individuals who can support the patient's spiritual needs. As a core member of the Interdisciplinary Group, the Chaplain will participate in regular meetings to ensure comprehensive care.

Job Qualifications
  • Licensure: Licensure requirements vary by state, but candidates should be aware of any necessary certifications.
  • Experience: One year of experience as a Chaplain in a healthcare institution is preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of community spiritual resources and excellent interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation is necessary, and candidates should have current auto liability insurance and a valid driver's license if using their personal vehicle for work-related tasks.
Estimated Salary Range

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be between $60,000 and $80,000, based on industry standards and location. However, final compensation will depend on factors such as experience and qualifications.
