About the Role:

PitchBook is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Operations Director to join our team. As a key member of our Revenue Operations group, you will play a pivotal role in driving the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of our finance efforts.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Revenue Operations, you will work closely with the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and our Finance leadership to identify finance needs and devise sustainable technical solutions to complex finance and business problems.

With a strong background in finance practices and outcomes, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and other Revenue Operations leaders to optimize campaign performance, drive lead generation, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the vision and strategy for our Finance Operations, collaborating closely with other Revenue Operations groups toward that vision.
  • Develop and drive our Finance Operations roadmap, using well-aligned strategic initiatives to achieve business goals.
  • Lead a team responsible for optimizing and automating finance operational processes with tools, data, and analytics to efficiently and effectively drive PitchBook's overarching business goals.
  • Treat Finance and all users of the tools, systems, and analytics built within Finance Operations as your internal customers, overseeing teams with three primary capabilities: Operations, Finance Platform, and Finance Intelligence.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in finance practices and outcomes.
  • Deep knowledge of the wide array of tools and technologies available to meet finance needs.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and other Revenue Operations leaders.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and drive a vision and strategy for Finance Operations.
