Job Summary
Temple Health is seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and procedural areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist anesthesiology patient-care providers with daily tasks, including stocking anesthesia supplies and non-controlled medications, sterilization of equipment, and removal of used supplies and equipment.
- Work with colleagues to ensure that all equipment is clean, tested, and functional to provide a safe and efficient patient care system.
- Collaborate with colleagues to reduce turnover time and achieve an efficient schedule in the operating rooms and procedural areas.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Trade School: Surgical Technician (Preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 Years experience utilizing sterilization techniques in an operating room environment (Required)
- 1 Year experience and knowledge of anesthesia-related equipment and supplies (Preferred)
Preferred Certifications
- ASATT - Amer Society Anesthesia Tech (Preferred)
