Nurse Practitioner

Acton Medical Associates is a reputable medical practice dedicated to delivering exceptional primary care to both pediatric and adult patients. Our team consists of skilled healthcare professionals who collaborate to provide personalized, top-notch care to every patient. We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner for our Internal Medicine department to join our team. The successful candidate will participate in a care team model, collaborating with primary care physicians to care for a panel of patients with various primary care needs, including routine physicals, chronic disease management, and urgent care. This position is full-time with occasional Saturday urgent care coverage. No night or weekend call.
We are looking for a candidate who can work 8 sessions (4 full days or 3 full days and 2 half days). We participate in a care team model that does not require NPs to carry a panel of patients. The NPs work within a care team with approximately 2-3 PCPs to provide comprehensive preventive care, chronic disease management, transitional care out of the hospital setting, and urgent care for adult patients age 18-end of life.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a nurse practitioner in adult medicine.
Qualifications
- Certified as a nurse practitioner by the ANCC or AANP.
- Current RN and NP licensure in Massachusetts.
- Current BCLS.
- CPR certification annually.
Additional Qualifications
- Participation in relevant CEU programs.
- Maintenance of requirements for licensure.
