Senior AV Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV Systems Engineer to join our team at AVI-SPL. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, specifying, and managing the installation of integrated systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical oversight of projects from conception through installation and completion.
- Review hour estimation for work based on needs analysis, scope of work, and bid requirements.
- Develop engineering and architectural drawings, calculations, and acoustical modeling.
- Identify and address technical or logistical impediments to delivering scope of work.
- Test audio, DSP, or video processing systems, and software required for system functionality.
- Provide engineering support to project installation teams when needed.
- Meet with vendors to evaluate products and provide technical oversight on commissioning of systems.
- Responsible for monitoring project budget and providing weekly project updates for clients.
- Design wall plates and overlays, and test integrated systems for troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to assist with securing personnel for installation and support project hand-off to the installation team.
- Review project designs created by internal and external resources and submit to the CAD department.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Formal education in Electronics or a related field preferred.
- Minimum five years of AV experience is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean Driver's Abstract that meets AVI-SPL driving standards.
The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring the ability to work independently and ensure timely completion of projects. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively with internal employees, clients, and colleagues in a professional and timely manner.
