Job Overview

This full-time Clinical Research Nurse Specialist position will play a critical role in supporting the oncology research program at Nuvance Health. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing and chemotherapy/biotherapy administration, as well as experience with clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all aspects of research subjects' care during their trial participation.
  • Collaborate with oncology physician practices and staff to ensure protocol compliance and scheduling of patient visits.
  • Perform patient assessment and chemotherapy toxicity evaluation based on NCI CTCAE criteria for adverse events on treatment days and as needed.
  • Prepare and submit IRB documentation in a timely manner.
  • Track and enter clinical data on all cancer patients as required.
  • Participate in investigator and study initiation meetings.
