About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Venice. As a key member of our Plant Operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Respond to urgent corrective and routine repairs of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems as required.
  • Maintain fire alarm systems, including proper response to alarms and changes to defective components.
  • Exhibit ability to evaluate nurse call system problems and perform necessary repairs.
  • Perform light maintenance duties as requested, including replacing light bulbs and performing minor carpentry tasks.
  • Perform security duties as assigned, maintaining awareness of appropriateness of presence of individuals in and around the facility.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • General maintenance background experience required, hospital maintenance experience preferred but not required.
