Join Our Team as a Marine Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Technician to join our team at Brunswick Corporation's Freedom Boat Club. As a Marine Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of boats, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and troubleshooting complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on boats, including oil changes, filter replacements, and other tasks as needed
  • Troubleshoot complex issues with boat systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair operations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in marine maintenance and repair

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marine maintenance and repair; experience with Yamaha or Mercury engines a plus
  • Knowledge of 12v electrical, rigging, and outboard diagnostics
  • Fiberglass repair experience a plus
  • Ability to work safely in a shop environment and maintain a clean work environment
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must pass a background and drug screening
