Manufacturing Technician I

The Manufacturing Technician I plays a vital role in the production of injectable products, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform job duties in a clean room environment, adhering to strict clean room gowning protocols.
- Assist in the setup and operation of labeling equipment used to label pre-filled syringes and/or vials.
- Support the operation of semi-automatic packaging equipment used to package pre-filled syringes.
- Perform in-process sampling, testing, and inspection on the packaging line.
- Assist in the setup, disassembly, and cleaning of syringe filling/stoppering equipment.
- Prepare equipment and parts for sterilization.
- Participate in the bulking/filtration process prior to aseptic filling.
- Maintain proper use of aseptic technique in an ISO 5-6 environment.
- Perform facility cleaning of critical aseptic environments as required to maintain a cGMP environment.
- Ensure product quality adheres to approved specifications.
- Perform job responsibilities in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production records.
- Participate in required annual hazardous waste training.
- Respond to spills per the Chemical Spill Procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
- Acceptable results on basic skill assessment.
