Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or Related Field: Possess a degree in Special Education or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred.
- Missouri State Certification in Special Education: Hold a valid Missouri state certification in Special Education.
- Experience Working with Students with Disabilities: Possess experience working with students with disabilities in a school environment.
- Strong Knowledge of Special Education Laws and Regulations: Demonstrate a strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Patience, Adaptability, and Commitment to Advocacy: Demonstrate patience, adaptability, and a commitment to advocating for students with special needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Behavior Management and Positive Behavior Support Strategies: Possess experience with behavior management and positive behavior support strategies.
